To avoid any issues with sending attachments through Mac Mail there are two things you must check.
Before attaching any files you may want to consider encoding and compressing the attachment into a zip file before you send it.
In order to compress a file:
- Right-click Right-click on it or hold down the Control key and click on the file.
- Look for Compress "Name of your file" Compress "Name of your file" and click on it.
- Under Edit > Attachments Please make sure "Insert Attacments at End of Message" is checked
- After clicking on the the attachment button in your compose window make sure that "Send Windows-Friendly Attachments" is checked.
