Purpose: When auto-mounting fails, need to be able to manually mount the NFS shares on a Mac/RHEL.

Usually auto-mounting home directories and other shares occurs automatically. However, there may be times when some or all of the shares do not mount  properly following a shutdown/reboot/logoff. In these situations, a manual way to mount the shares is needed. The following command can be edited and run to manually connect:

Code Block
sudo mount -t nfs -o resvport /volume/shared

Code Block
sudo mount -t nfs -o resvport /ida/nrts

sudo mount -t nfs -o resvport /ida
