When a DSA separates, transfers to another department, or is no longer going to be a DSA in their current department a DSA Appointment Form needs to be emailed to act-access@ucsd.edu to remove the DSA.

You can also find the link to the DSA Appointment Form in AccessLink under Documentation, then Common Forms.

The DSA Appointment Form needs to be emailed to act-access@ucsd.edu before the employee's Business Systems Account is terminated.

You will need to periodically check the DSA list for your department by going to AccessLink under Tools,  then Utilities, then click on Find out the DSAs for your department.  Enter your department's name.

Your department should have at least two DSAs so there is one to back-up the other.

Please plan ahead if you department is going to need a new DSA.  The DSA Training Class is offered every three months.  The employee can register for the DSA Training Class through UC Learning Center's website (https://uclearning.ucsd.edu).
